Episode 1 of “My Chinese is not good” webcomic is out!

This starts off as an introduction to who I am and what I’m doing :)

Hey peeps!

One of the reasons I haven’t been active online so much is because I’ve been preparing to go study in Nanjing, China! I’m excited and nervous and will be making a simple little comic over at Tapastic about my experience.

My Mandarin is poor and this will be the first time I live on my own and overseas. Many people study abroad but I’ve always enjoyed people telling their own experiences of it and thought I’d give it a go.

So get ready for some rough little comics!

Here are some framed pictures I did for some close mates of mine … And as I don’t know when I’ll be coming across them next here’s a small preview … they’ll probably be able to tell whose is whose :P

I really enjoyed doing the artwork improvement meme so decided to do another one with my animations. I’d say there was a pretty dramatic improvement once uni began … can’t believe I said I don’t like doing frame by frame animation the first time I started … oh tweens.

Welp, I thought this might be a nice little idea. I remember when I was younger and really wanting to do this but realizing that I haven’t really been drawing for that long. Well now I can finally do this! … Now I have to wait another 9 years or so, ugh.

Well I’m back from Seoul which was great fun!

On the last days we found this awesome Mustoy Art Cafe in Hongdae! I hadn’t gotten my parents anything yet so thought this would be a cute little idea. My bud Carly and I both drew our parents in this super cool cafe. Great atmosphere, great music and surprisingly awesome ice tea!
