I didn’t quite do every day but i feel i did pretty well considering how poorly i’ve done monthly challenges before.

For two weeks of MerMay I did some beat boards for a story about sirens. It’s basically just “A Bug’s Life” meets “The Little Mermaid” haha. But it was a fun little project that was great for practice.

Trying out MerMay - here’s my generic day 1 mermaid sketch.

I might just do every second day, and I’ll probably upload them in groups after this, who knows!?

Here’s a sketchbook I recently filled up. It was a very on and off again kind of book that was started at the beginning of last year. It eventually just became my life drawing book haha.

Well this has taken me far too long, I’m not 100% happy but I set a deadline for myself for the end of this month. I more so liked this scene in the movie then in the book but this is still my rendition of the scene.

What a good book. I’ll admit it - I never read the Harry Potter series as a kid (I’M SORRY) but the expressive and exciting voice of Steven Fry took me through this amazing story. More cinematic book illustrations to come later.

Absolutely obsessed with Bullet Journaling at the moment thanks to Sealemon who’s video got me into it. I’m feeling my way around bujoing but i think i should start spending less time decorating it and more time using it as a tool to help me be productive.

I’ve jumped onto audio books and am super into them. This was recommended to me and was the first book I listened to.

Hey. I made a journal for myself. Heres some boomerang loops. I want to get into bullet journaling and thought it’d be good to make another book to start the year.

I made a book at the start of the year, it’s absolutely destroyed now, haha! I didn’t keep to the one drawing a day rule but still managed to fill it out. Here’s alot of crappy sketches i never posted since they’re terrible/studies of other work. Lets hope I improve more next year!
